Oak & Steel benches for
RHS Gardens Wisley, Surrey

Oxford Oak were commissioned by RHS Garden Wisley to make twelve Oak & Steel benches for the Jubilee Arboretum.

Landscape Manager Peter Jones required benches that were robust and heavy, so our 2m Oak & Steel benches were a perfect match.

The Oak & Steel benches are arranged either side of the main grass avenue. At 2m length, they provide seating for up to 3 people. The solid oak beams are warm to the touch, and gently curved to shed rain water and create a comfortable seat. The area is popular for picnics in the dappled shade of the trees.
