Garden Stories: Beating the Blues Garden

We were commissioned by Emily Sharpe of Garden Stories to make a range of contemporary oak benches and garden elements for the Beating the Blues Garden. The Garden was exhibited at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2015, and the Blenheim Flower Show 2015.

Inspired by a painting titled Still Got The Blues by Swarez, this contemporary garden was designed to provide a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city living.

Oxford Oak produced two Northways benches, two contemporary oak pergola arches, and horizontal fencing.

Emily’s garden was very popular, receiving a Gold Medal and Best in Show at Blenheim Palace, and a Silver Gilt Medal and People’s Choice Show Garden at RHS Malvern.
